Grand Kerala — Hills, Backwaters, Varkala & Kovalam

Very first day your Kerala journey begins on arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will receive you and assist with a direct transfer to Munnar. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and is one of the most scenic routes in Kerala, passing through misty hills, waterfalls, spice plantations, and lush green valleys of the Western Ghats. Enroute, you may enjoy short photo stops at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. On arrival in Munnar, you will check in to your hotel or resort and spend the evening at leisure in the cool mountain climate. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

On the second day, after breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day sightseeing experience of Munnar, a destination known for its tea gardens and natural beauty. The day includes visits to Eravikulam National Park, home to the Nilgiri Tahr, followed by the Tea Museum where the tea-making process and history are showcased. Later, you will explore Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and scenic viewpoints surrounded by endless tea plantations. The evening is free for relaxation or shopping before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.

On the third day, after breakfast and check-out, you will proceed towards Thekkady, a destination famous for wildlife and spice plantations. The drive passes through beautiful landscapes filled with cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon plantations. On arrival, you may enjoy optional activities such as boating in Periyar Lake inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spice plantation visits, or traditional cultural shows like Kathakali or Kalaripayattu. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady.

On the fourth day, after breakfast, you will check out and proceed towards Alleppey, known as the "Venice of the East" for its peaceful backwaters. On arrival, you will board your private Kerala houseboat where a traditional welcome awaits you. The houseboat cruise begins through narrow canals, coconut groves, paddy fields, and charming village landscapes. Fresh Kerala meals will be served onboard including lunch, evening tea with snacks, and dinner. The houseboat anchors at a serene location in the evening for an overnight stay amidst the backwaters.

On the fifth day, after breakfast, you will proceed to Varkala, one of Kerala's most scenic cliff beaches. The drive takes around 3 hours. You will enjoy the stunning cliff views, beach walks, cafés, and natural spring waters. Varkala is known for its peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation and photography. Overnight stay in Varkala.

Today after breakfast onboard and check-out from the Hotel, you will proceed towards Kovalam. On the way visit Jatau National Park. On arrival, you will check in to your beach resort and spend the evening relaxing at the beach, enjoying sunset views over the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay will be in Kovalam.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day excursion to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. The drive takes around 3 to 4 hours. Here you will visit iconic attractions such as Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Temple, and enjoy the unique experience of witnessing the meeting point of three seas. Sunset at Kanyakumari is one of the most beautiful in India. In the evening, you will return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.

Today after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and be transferred to Trivandrum Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable Kerala tour.
